LAHAD DATU – The 2nd Quarterly Management Committee Meeting (QMCM) site visit was successfully held in Lahad Datu on 27th July 2026 (Monday), bringing together the Group’s Senior Management for a comprehensive visit to review the latest operational developments and strategic initiatives across the region.

The visit provided the Management Committee with an opportunity to receive updates on key plantation and mill operations, including the progress of the Group’s replanting programmes, Sawit EcoShield and the Weevil Breeding Hut initiative, as well as ongoing developments across the plantation estates and palm oil mill. As part of the programme, the Committee toured Sebrang Estate, Sebrang Mill together with Sawit EcoShield within it, and Matamba Estate and its Weevil Breeding Hut.

A key highlight of the visit was the launching of the Weevil Breeding Hut at Matamba Estate and the opening of the Block 52 Observation Tower at Sebrang Estate officiated by the Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Victor Ationg, together with the Group’s Senior Management.

During the visit, Datuk Victor Ationg acknowledged the efforts and commitment demonstrated by the Lahad Datu Region in supporting the Group’s plantation operations. He noted the region’s significant contribution to the Company’s plantation business and encouraged all employees to continue working together, maintaining high standards of performance, and striving for continuous improvement to support the Group’s long-term growth and success.
